Accessibility Statement
Our commitment to making Objects of Interest usable by everyone, and how to tell us when we fall short.
Our commitment
We want everyone to be able to read our guides and journal, whatever device or assistive technology they use. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA.
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML and a logical heading order on every page.
- Text and interface colours chosen to meet AA contrast.
- Keyboard-operable controls with visible focus states.
- Labels on form fields, and alternative text on meaningful images.
- Motion and animation that respect the “prefers-reduced-motion” setting.
- Automated accessibility checks in our development pipeline.
Known limitations
Interactive maps rely on a third-party map library; the same information is available as a text list of places that works without JavaScript. Some older guides or third-party embeds may not yet fully meet AA. We are working through them.
Feedback
If you hit a barrier, email support@objects-of-interest.com with the page and a short description of the problem. We aim to respond within five working days.
